It is in the nature of most Conspiraloons to be glass half empty kind of people

And I, and a few folks who have commented on this blog, and a few folks who have written to me directly, have recently expressed a sense of despair about what's going on in the world




There's a sense that global events are heading towards some kind of ghastly, unstoppable climax

Well, yes, I think they might be

But, looking on the bright side...

No, there really is one, honest

It's really quite easy to forget that the last six months or so have been a terrible time for Official Narratives and the interests that control the US, UK and other governments...

• The Georgian attack on Ossetia was a disaster. Western neocon interests got their arses kicked and, just as bad, it was clear from Day One that a significant number of ordinary people in the West weren't buying the round the clock propaganda about the conflict that was being directed at us

• Ditto for the recent disagreement between the Russians and the Ukrainians over gas supplies. We plebs were clearly supposed to blame the Evil Russians for cuting our energy supplies off, but a large number of us just weren't having it

• The fucked up false flag attack at Mumbai was another disaster. Whoever was behind it (I wonder) made a complete dog's cock of the entire business and it's proven to be so difficult to stitch together an even vaguely credible attempt at an official narrative that the mainstream media are behaving virtually as if it never happened

• The jury at the Jean Charles de Menezes inquest refused to play along with an official whitewash and during the inquest we discovered that, yes, the police were fully aware that JCdM was not carrying a bomb but his execution was ordered anyway, by an unidentified person who overruled the policewoman who was nominally in charge of the operation

• During the show trial of the alleged 7/7 helpers it was revealed that the alleged 7/7 bombers weren't carrying the bombs and that their personal IDs recovered from the carnage weren't anywhere near them, or the bombs, when the bombs exploded

• The global reaction to the recent assault of Gaza has gone terribly for the Israelis. The old excuses and rationalisations just aren't cutting it any more and the shills they've been putting on the television, in the newspapers and the net have been soundly thrashed and exposed for the lying fucks they are, time and again

• It also seems pretty likely to me that the inevitable economic crash that the Powers that Be knew was coming got under way a lot earlier than scheduled. There is a good portion of the infrastructure of a police state in place but it is nowhere near complete and the UK government, for example, has been frantic in trying to roll its ID card and other controlling measures out. Too late now I think.

I'm not forgetting the victims of these fucked up false flag attacks and bullshit but, on balance, recent attempts at staging once dependable false flag attacks and bullshit have gone far from well for the people behind them

So, chin up. There's a tremendous learning process at work. It's most concentrated on the net but its effects are rippling out beyond

And, as I was discussing with a few folk yesterday, when I first engaged with net-based alternative explanations of how the world works, conspiratorial internet sites and blogs were littered with stuff about crop circles, UFOs and other, mostly nonsense, stuff which was frequently blended in with serious parapolitical material about 9/11 and the machinations of our ruling class.

Now, a few years later, you are much more likely to see material about how our money system works and the first, tentative steps to figuring out new social and economic ideologies than pictures of pie tins hanging off pieces of string

And, just for clarity's sake, I don't know if aliens are in and out of this planet like Piccadilly Circus or not; though I doubt it. What I am certain of is that trying to hitch space-alien-crop circle-bullshitainment onto matters of life, death and exploitation is at best misguided and at worst willfully wicked and deceitful

Somehow, in spite of all the nonsense, all the disinfo, misinfo, sabotage and bullshit, the people I'm running into on-line are better informed, better focused and more savvy than they were five years ago. They are also more restless and trying to figure out how they can apply their new consciousness and understanding to the 'real' world

This is good news and a (small) reason to be optimistic

The mother of Jean Charles de Menezes has said she feels "reborn" after a jury at an inquest into her son's death rejected a verdict of lawful killing

The 10 jurors returned an open verdict after listening to more than seven weeks of evidence into the 27-year-old's death.

Earlier, Mr de Menezes' family had said the inquest was a "whitewash" after the coroner said the jury could not return a verdict of unlawful killing.

But after the jury rejected a string of claims made by police officers about the events leading up to Mr de Menezes being killed, Maria Otone de Menezes said she was relieved.

In a statement read out at a news conference by the family, Mrs de Menezes said: "Since the moment that the coroner ruled out the option of unlawful killing I was feeling very sad.

"But today I feel as if I have been reborn."

In a damning indictment, they dismissed claims by a firearms officer, codenamed C12, that he shouted "armed police" before opening fire.

The jury also disputed that Mr de Menezes had walked towards officers before he was killed.

The jurors concluded that six police failings caused or contributed to the innocent man's death.

The jury of five men and five women came to a majority of eight to two in delivering their open verdict. Of the remaining 12 questions, the jury were unanimous on all but two of them.

Firearms officers shot Mr de Menezes on a train at Stockwell Tube station in south London on July 22, 2005, after mistaking him for failed suicide bomber Hussain Osman.

As the jury returned its verdict after its sixth day of deliberations, the Menezes family accused coroner Sir Michael Wright of "presiding over a complete whitewash".

In a fierce attack, they said he "failed on every count" during proceedings.

After the hearing, acting Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Paul Stephenson said: "We must and do accept full responsibility for his death.

"For someone to lose their life in such circumstances is something the Metropolitan Police regrets.

"In the face of enormous challenges faced by officers on that day, we made a most terrible mistake. I am sorry."

He said officers had been working in a "unique situation" in the wake of the July 7 suicide bombings - in which 52 people were killed - and the attempted terror attacks in the capital on July 21, after which there were potential bombers on the loose.

"No one set out that day to kill an innocent man. The coroner has ruled that on the extensive evidence put to the court that this was not an unlawful killing."

He said the officers who shot the Brazilian "set out with the intent to protect and defend the public".

Some 100 people gave evidence at the inquest into the death of Mr de Menezes.

Among them were 65 police officers, mostly firearms and surveillance experts, 50 of whom were granted anonymity.

The jury also heard from 17 Tube passengers and Mr de Menezes's cousins.

There was much anticipation that former Met Commissioner Sir Ian Blair could give evidence, but he resigned just under two weeks into the inquest.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission called for a review of police procedures in the wake of the shooting.

IPCC chairman Nick Hardwick said the inquest did not "examine the broader issue of how the police should respond to the threat of suicide terrorism.

"I call again for this to have much broader debate and scrutiny by the public and their representatives," he said.

Sky News crime reporter Martin Brunt said it was a "distinct possibility" that the IPCC, which initially cleared those involved of any wrongdoing, would choose to review that decision.

He said that since the jury had effectively decided that the firearms officers had lied about giving a warning before the shooting, disciplinary action was a possibility.


Needless to say, and contrary to the bullshit being parroted by the BBC, Sky and all the others, no-one has yet proved that De Menezes' executioners made any mistake whatsoever when they killed an innocent man.

The only thing that has been proved is that the executioners and their bosses have lied through their fucking teeth about the execution and that the full force of the establishment was used to slander an innocent victim after he was killed

And no amount of corporate media spin can hide that

Menezes officer changed evidence

An investigation has begun after an officer admitted changing evidence during the inquest into the death of Jean Charles de Menezes.

The Special Branch officer, named as Owen, said he deleted a line from computer notes which quoted Deputy Assistant Commissioner Cressida Dick.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission said it would investigate.

Brazilian Mr de Menezes, 27, was killed by police who mistook him for one of the failed 21 July 2005 bombers.

Owen, a surveillance officer, told the inquest the deleted line claimed Ms Dick had initially said the electrician could "run onto Tube as not carrying anything".

But on Monday he said: "On reflection, I looked at that and thought I cannot actually say that."...


Am still really, really curious how the fact that JCdM patently wasn't carrying anything when he was executed is going to be explained away

I haven't seen too much crowing in cyberspace about the demise of part-time Ridley Scott lookalike and full-time shit copper Ian Blair earlier this week

The problem is, I think, the fact that there's a very strong possibility that Blair is going to be replaced by someone even more reactionary than he is

Whilst undoubtedly perplexing for those of us who have issues with Blair because he repeated untruths about JCdM, blocked the investigation into JCdM's execution and was an enthusiastic and high-profile booster of the nonsense War on Terror fairytale, the biggest criticism of Blair promoted by the establishment media was that he was 'too PC' and too soft on potential evil doers

Not that I personally expect Blair's successor to be that different from Blair

Conspiratorial thinking aside, it's a plain fact of Life that the people who rise to the top of large institutions usually do so not because of any technical ability they might have but because they have mastered internal politics or have been mentored by masters of internal politics

If you're busy trying to do your job properly there's no way you've got the time to get stuck into the serious business of putting the shaft into your fellow team members

And the bigger the organisation the more scope there is for dead weight, non accountability and parasitism

The Metropolitan Police, and every other large, centralised organisation, all the way up to old favourites such as the EU, the UN and the big corporate cartels are and always will be Institutionally, and inherently, Corrupt

and you don't need to be a Conspiraloon to acknowledge this

and then, popping my Conspiraloon hat back on, you've got to admit that stuffing the special duties sections of our police forces with serial shaggers and the kind of dishonest fuckers who have no qualms about getting beered up on tens of thousands of public money does make for a very malleable security establishment doesn't it

and if that doesn't work it's nothing an ill-fated camping holiday or Sunday afternoon stroll in the woods can't solve

Yet another fair and impartial inquiry begins

One of my preoccupations in life, and therefore of this blog, is trying to identify and record the kind of legitimate questions which support perfectly healthy and rational scepticism of 'Official Narratives'

I personally don't offer people, here or in real life, much in the way of fully-formed alternative narratives as, much of the time, my doubts arise due to the absence of sufficient information to form any.

My problem with 'Official Narratives' is that they are promoted as being the definitive end of a story and used to justify assertions that no further investigation is required; when I often have grounds to believe nothing could be further from the truth

The inquest into the execution of Jean Charles de Menezes is now, finally, under way

It's early days yet but it's already clear that much of the hearing will be preoccupied with the alleged case of mistaken identity which resulted in de Menezes' execution

As it happens, the mainstream media has already decided what happened that day and routinely refers to the reason that Menezes was shot as being because he was mistaken for a known terrorist




There are plenty of inconsistencies in the Official Narrative of that day - surveillence tapes went missing and were erased, log books were retrospectively changed, dubious eye witnesses appeared on television that morning talking about de Menezes wearing heavy clothing and behaving suspiciously, the head of the police went on television claiming that de Menezes was a terrorist long after he would have known otherwise, due process was obstructed...

Everything about that Official Narrative stinks

But here is, what me for is the most disturbing flaw in the Official Narrative...

De Menezes was wearing thin clothing and wasn't carrying anything

A possible case of mistaken identity is arguably totally irrelevant and at best secondary to the question of whether shooting someone in public was a criminal act or not

Even if de Menezes was a wanted terrorist, public gunplay would only be justifiable if he was carrying something that could have honestly been mistaken for a bomb

That's the alleged case of mistaken identification that most needs investigating here

I await the inquest's detailed discussion of this question with bated breath

because if it's now OK to blow people away in public for being suspected bombless bombers it's now OK to blow anybody away

Verint Systems was reportedly put in charge of London Underground's CCTV cameras in 2004

Those would be the CCTV cameras that apparently didn't work on 7/7 and also on 22/7 when JCdM was shot in the face by persons unknown, lots

The people behind the short clip above have put together a much (much) longer sequence of videos dedicated to Verint but as they make repeated reference to the Mossad (the flame to the Loon moth) I won't be posting a link to them here. Not when a perfectly good Conspiraloon Alliance blog has been set up for that sort of thing

I don't pretend to know if anyone at Verint has any special knowledge about what happened on 7/7

I was chatting with a few fellow loons a few days ago on the subject of 'who watches the watchers?' and the apparent over-representation of Israeli companies in the high-tech security business came up in conversation

You could very easily argue that circumstances dictate that the Israelis and the ex(?) NSA types who set these kinds of businesses up have experience which gives them a perfectly explicable head start with this sort of thing

But it still makes me twitchy

And, unlike London Transport and the Montreal Transit System, I personally try to avoid turning over the keys to all my confidential data to possible/ probable spook bastards (of any nationality) wherever possible

A couple of recent, relatively trivial, examples...

ZoneAlarm Firewall software - owned by Checkpoint Software and busted for sending encrypted data about users back to Mummy without asking their permission beforehand (though this unfortunate incident is no longer recorded in Wikipedia and therefore, arguably, never actually happened)

Fring - a package which enables users to talk and chat using Skype, ICQ, Google Talk, MSN Messenger, AIM and Yahoo Messenger on their smartphones. To my knowledge, Fring hasn't actually been caught out doing anything wrong but about two seconds after I loaded it onto my phone I asked myself was I really happy plugging in all my user IDs and passwords into a single piece of software which some apparently very altruistic people in a far off land were making available to me for free?

Fring is no longer installed on my phone

Open source would, wherever possible, definitely appear to be the way to go

"The driver of the London Underground train involved in the latest terrorist scare was chased by armed police and had a gun held to his head as he tried to escape the scene of today's shooting, union officials have claimed. The driver started running along an underground tunnel as passengers were fleeing from Stockwell Tube station following the shooting of a suspect."

In a parallel universe someone working for a newspaper would have chased up this little gem and started asking questions like 'Why after shooting the suspect they'd tailed into the station did the police (sic.) start running up and down tunnels jamming pistols into London underground employees' faces?' or 'What does the driver have to say about what happened?'

In this universe, however, no-one has asked any questions and, to my knowledge, the story was killed stone dead

The disgraceful campaign to kill Jean Charles de Menezes' reputation as well as the man took a new turn yesterday...

"Traces of cocaine were found in Jean Charles de Menezes which may have made him act unusually before he was shot dead by firearms officers, a court heard today."

The biggest problem with taking this approach in attempting to justify the execution of Jean Charles is that there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever that JCdM did act unusually before he was executed

Nope, in spite of two years of shameful, state-sanctioned smears that de Menezes had a dodgy visa, was a wanted rapist and, now, a druggie…

...in spite of the crooked eye-witness testimonies, the magically self-erasing platform CCTV tapes, the magically non-existent house surveillance tapes, the doctored surveillance logs and all the other lies and bullshit…

the police have offered absolutely no evidence that Jean Charles did anything to invite having seven bullets pumped into his head

On top of that, Jean Charles had no coke in his bloodstream anyway. The traces that were found were in his urine not his blood. The blood test for cocaine was reported as being ‘below detectable levels’ which in honest English, an increasingly rare commodity, means that none was found.

So, no, there’s fuck all possibility that the coke traces found in JCdM’s corpse had anything to do with his execution. They do however serve a very useful establishment purpose – as illustrated by a discarded copy of the Daily Star I saw fluttering outside the Oval tube station this afternoon…

Apparently, the composite picture of Jean Charles de Menezes and wanted 21/7 bombless 'bomber' Hussain Osman, released by the Metropolitan Police to show how similar the two men looked, was manipulated to make de Menezes look more like Osman than he really did...

And it’s taken people two years to realise that?

Actually, it didn’t. It’s only being discussed now because the suggestion was made as part of the court case. The fact that the picture may have been doctored prior to release is being reported as being a surprise

So, presumably, if there hadn’t been a court case no-one in the mainstream press would have thought twice about it

One of the many, many scary aspects of the shooting in Stockwell is the fact that, apparently, the super-professional, highly trained observers acting as spotters for London-based state execution squads can’t even spot the rather obvious differences between East Africans (sometimes referred to as 'skinnies'), Latinos (rarely referred to as 'skinnies') or even Mongolians

So there I was sitting on a southbound train on the Piccadilly Line yesterday when the train was delayed at Manor House station.

The driver apologised and explained that there was a signal problem further down the line.

The train sat there for about fifteen minutes and steadily filled up with people.

And then a couple of London Transport police and one of the station staff started peering into the carriage, checking all the passengers out. The station guard then came into the carriage and said

‘Excuse me ladies and gentlemen, this may sound a little strange but have any of you noticed someone with a rucksack getting on the train between here and Bounds Green who’s been acting in a silly way?’

Silly?

A couple of my fellow passengers began to stare at me - probably something to do with the fact that I had this sitting on my knee…


For the briefest of moments, the temptation to call out ‘Mwuhaahaahahaa!!’ and wave my hands in the air was almost irresistible

But it wouldn’t have been that funny and, besides, someone might have shot me in the face – lots

Not that you have to behave in an unusual way or carry something that could be a bomb to have someone shoot you in the face these days

And, as it turns out from testimony given at the JCdM court case this week, you don’t even have to be mistaken for a wanted terrorist suspect to get shot in the face these days...

Well, that narrows the number of people who could have been shot in the face by the security forces in London that day down to only a few million people

And top marks to the BBC for reporting the fact that ‘special bullets' were used to kill JCdM

‘Special’ being a carefully selected euphemism for hollow points aka dum dums aka ‘manstoppers’




First developed by the British military in the 19th century for putting down fanatical ‘savages’, they were subsequently prohibited from military use by international agreement but have been retained for certain specialised law-enforcement purposes i.e. putting down fanatical savages

Hollow points are exactly the kind of weapon that would be described as disgraceful and sadistically wicked if the 'Bad Guys' are caught using them but as a necessary and effective tool when the Good Guys use them. Kind of like studding explosives with ball bearings or dropping flaming thickened petrol on people.

No doubt there are plenty of people who have no problem with the thought that an undetermined number of itchy-fingered security personal are roaming the streets of London carrying pistols loaded with assassins’ ammunition.

I wouldn’t even try arguing with anyone who believes that this kind of thing is necessary. Partly because they would have a point. If you draw a gun on someone with the intention of killing them what sense is there in not carrying the most lethal ammunition possible?

What I would like to know, especially with the lethality of the bullets used in mind, is why the people who shot JCdM put 7/ 8/ 9 of the fucking things into his head? After about the first two or three was there really any point? And if there was a point why stop at 7/8/9 rounds? Why not 50?

As discussed with a couple of commentators on my last post about the JCdM shooting I’m wary of theorising about things. However, to fire that many ‘manstopping’ rounds into a person’s head suggests that either a deliberate statement was being made or that at least one of the 'highly trained' operatives wandering around London with dum dum bullets that day didn't (doesn’t) know when to stop

…which might explain why the driver of the train was chased down a tunnel and had a gun (presumably loaded with hollow points) held to his head

Maybe there are other explanations. Maybe the guy(s) who shot JCdM could give an account of their tactics and actions which doesn’t sound like a frenzied slaughter. The only problem being, of course, that the IPCC investigation into the shooting has not been published and we’ve already been told that the person(s) who fired the lethal shots won’t be appearing in the current court case

So, whether you are personally comfortable with the events of 22 July 2005 and their implications simply boils down to whether you trust the people who are telling you what happened

And whilst on the subject of who is or isn't making testimony during the current court hearing I'm just gagging to find out if star witness, of 'he was wearing a thickish coat ... sort of out of place for this time of year' fame, Mark Whitby is going to take the stand...

New Tube Terror Shooting CCTV Released

I've just popped a Sky News report on the recently released CCTV footage of JCdM at Stockwell Station onto Youtube

I didn't ask Rupert for permission beforehand so it might not stay up for very long



If you look very carefully at the footage it is clear that JCdM could easily have been carrying an invisible suicide bomb and that police and media accounts of the events leading up to his shooting were 100% accurate.

My spooky psychic powers are working overtime again and telling me that it's almost time to be told to put the events at Stockwell behind us and move on. There have been two independent investigations and a court case and any further investigation would be both costly and pointless . Also, think about the distress caused to the bereaved family by endlessly re-examining the tragic events over and over again, etc etc...

And in related developments in the ongoing War on Terror, that Intellectual Colossus, Purveyor of Truth™ and nominal head of the Metropolitan Police Sir Ian Blair has recently gone on the record to say...

"The number of the conspiracies, the number of conspirators within those conspiracies and the magnitude of the ambition, in terms of destruction and loss of life, is mounting; has continued to mount, is increasing year by year"

The Common Enemy revisited - pt2

and back to Common Purpose for a moment...

Unlike the ‘Little Englanders’ I referred to in my earlier post I personally doubt very much if an organisation like Common Purpose could ever be the all powerful demon they think it to be

What it could very easily be is part of that network of unaccountable, droid-nurturing lobby groups and think thanks which now envelops the political process and has replaced ideology and conviction with 'glittering generalities'

I have a particularly big problem with the Fascistic (that word again) blurring of the conceptual lines between a public service such as the police or prison service and privately owned companies - a blurring process which organisations like Common Purpose help to promote

Maybe I am prisoner of my personal political ideology but I believe that there is a big difference between running a supermarket and running a police force

There are some services that are arguably best run as monopolies – water supply is the first that comes to mind. Unless that is someone can make a compelling case for laying two competing sets of pipes in our towns and cities

And giving monopolies on essential services over to private ownership is rarely a good idea

There are other services which potentially could compete with each other but it is probably best if they don’t – I’d suggest that having two different police forces or armies competing with each other on the high street would be insane

Another point to consider is that many of our public services exist because we, as citizens, give up our rights to act for ourselves on the understanding that certain activities, such as dispensing justice, might be better achieved collectively

"You know I am no stranger. I know rules are a bore. But just to keep you from danger I am the Law"

But what happens when the politicians we have given up our freedom of action to hand those powers over to privately controlled corporations?

Is a policeman still a public servant if he works for a privately controlled company?

...or thinks, acts and talks like he's working for a privately controlled company?

Would that make someone like Jean Charles de Menezes a dissatisfied customer?




Mentioning JCdM is not quite as gratuitous as it might seem, as the person who gave the order for him to be shot in the face is a Common Purpose graduate

And no, I am not implying that Common Purpose style leadership training turns people in psycho killers but if I had been the person who paid for that particular graduate’s leadership course I’d be looking for my money back...

It makes much more sense to think about these kind of leadership courses not so much as being about training as being part of a selection process. You can’t turn someone into a leader in a couple of weeks. You can however identify the kind of people your system of control is based on and equip them with the language they need to be identifiable to each other

... a way of looking at things which can help make sense of the fact that the person in command of the Stockwell operation was promoted to even higher office shortly after presiding over what was, even by official accounts, a murderous fuck up

Competence and preferment do not necessarily go hand in hand in our system of governance. There are other qualities much higher on the list of selection criteria

Given the increased blurring of the distinction between public service and private enterprise, it seems only appropriate that the only court case to be heard as the result of JCdM’s execution is being held under Health and Safety at work legislation. Even though I doubt very much if anyone will be held accountable as a result of the case it has at least forced the papers to report a curious incident which happened immediately after JCdM was shot...




Aside from a press statement issued by the driver’s union the following day, the news that the police (sic.) chased the train driver down a tunnel and jammed a gun in his face has not been investigated by any of the mainstream media. Come to think of I don't even think the press release was reported at the time

The significance of this story is, to my mind anyway, that if the police had followed an alleged suspect suicide bomber all the way from his home to Stockwell station why on earth would they feel the need to start running around pointing guns at other people, especially the driver of the fucking train?

And as for the $64,000 question – ‘Why did the police think a guy in thin clothing, carrying no bags, was a suicide bomber in the first place?’ – well, forget it…

The official story continues to make no sense – big time
