That tired old cacca just isn't working any more

It is in the nature of most Conspiraloons to be glass half empty kind of people

And I, and a few folks who have commented on this blog, and a few folks who have written to me directly, have recently expressed a sense of despair about what's going on in the world

There's a sense that global events are heading towards some kind of ghastly, unstoppable climax

Well, yes, I think they might be

But, looking on the bright side...

No, there really is one, honest

It's really quite easy to forget that the last six months or so have been a terrible time for Official Narratives and the interests that control the US, UK and other governments...

  • The Georgian attack on Ossetia was a disaster. Western neocon interests got their arses kicked and, just as bad, it was clear from Day One that a significant number of ordinary people in the West weren't buying the round the clock propaganda about the conflict that was being directed at us
  • Ditto for the recent disagreement between the Russians and the Ukrainians over gas supplies. We plebs were clearly supposed to blame the Evil Russians for cuting our energy supplies off, but a large number of us just weren't having it
  • The fucked up false flag attack at Mumbai was another disaster. Whoever was behind it (I wonder) made a complete dog's cock of the entire business and it's proven to be so difficult to stitch together an even vaguely credible attempt at an official narrative that the mainstream media are behaving virtually as if it never happened
  • The jury at the Jean Charles de Menezes inquest refused to play along with an official whitewash and during the inquest we discovered that, yes, the police were fully aware that JCdM was not carrying a bomb but his execution was ordered anyway, by an unidentified person who overruled the policewoman who was nominally in charge of the operation
  • The global reaction to the recent assault of Gaza has gone terribly for the Israelis. The old excuses and rationalisations just aren't cutting it any more and the shills they've been putting on the television, in the newspapers and the net have been soundly thrashed and exposed for the lying fucks they are, time and again

  • It also seems pretty likely to me that the inevitable economic crash that the Powers that Be knew was coming got under way a lot earlier than scheduled. There is a good portion of the infrastructure of a police state in place but it is nowhere near complete and the UK government, for example, has been frantic in trying to roll its ID card and other controlling measures out. Too late now I think.

I'm not forgetting the victims of these fucked up false flag attacks and bullshit but, on balance, recent attempts at staging once dependable false flag attacks and bullshit have gone far from well for the people behind them

So, chin up. There's a tremendous learning process at work. It's most concentrated on the net but its effects are rippling out beyond

-

And, as I was discussing with a few folk yesterday, when I first engaged with net-based alternative explanations of how the world works, conspiratorial internet sites and blogs were littered with stuff about crop circles, UFOs and other, mostly nonsense, stuff which was frequently blended in with serious parapolitical material about 9/11 and the machinations of our ruling class.

Now, a few years later, you are much more likely to see material about how our money system works and the first, tentative steps to figuring out new social and economic ideologies than pictures of pie tins hanging off pieces of string

Yeah, you can fuck right off for a start

And, just for clarity's sake, I don't know if aliens are in and out of this planet like Piccadilly Circus or not; though I doubt it. What I am certain of is that trying to hitch space-alien-crop circle-bullshitainment onto matters of life, death and exploitation is at best misguided and at worst willfully wicked and deceitful

Somehow, in spite of all the nonsense, all the disinfo, misinfo, sabotage and bullshit, the people I'm running into on-line are better informed, better focused and more savvy than they were five years ago. They are also more restless and trying to figure out how they can apply their new consciousness and understanding to the 'real' world

This is good news and a (small) reason to be optimistic

Honestly

.

During the show trial of the alleged 7/7 helpers it was revealed that the alleged 7/7 bombers weren't carrying the bombs and that their personal IDs recovered from the carnage weren't anywhere near them, or the bombs, when the bombs exploded

Any links for this?

July 7 bombers 'left clues to martyrdom'

By Richard Edwards, Crime Correspondent
Last Updated: 3:05AM BST 18 Apr 2008

The July 7 terrorists left a trail of clues for police before setting off their bombs so that they would be instantly recognised as "martyrs", a court heard on Monday.

The bombers scattered identity and bank cards around the Tube carriages they targeted before placing their rucksacks on the floor and setting off the explosives inside them, jurors heard.

The details emerged for the first time as a forensics expert's evidence was read at the trial of three men accused of helping to plan the atrocity.

Jurors were told the "unique" bomb mixture was made up of black pepper and hydrogen peroxide, which was put into ordinary plastic bags alongside ice-packs to cool the volatile material.

The bombers were not wearing the rucksacks at the time of the explosions, but had instead put them down on the floor of the bus and Tube trains, it was claimed.

Neil Flewitt, QC, prosecuting, said that expert Clifford Todd had examined the wreckage of the bomb sites.

He said: "It is, in the opinion of Mr Todd, noteworthy that at each scene, some personal materials and documents, such as ID cards, were found relating to the bombers.

"Although they were damaged to some extent, they did not show the damage that would be expected if they were on the body of the bomber or in the rucksack, suggesting that in each case they had been deliberately separated by some distance from the actual explosion."

The bombers began to make their bombs three months before the attacks at two houses in Leeds, the court heard.

Traces of DNA from the three defendants accused of helping the bombers - Waheed Ali, Sadeer Saleem and Mohammed Shakil - were found inside both bomb factories, the prosecution claim.

The three men are accused of going on a two-day trip to London on Dec 16 and 17 where they pinpointed potential targets and visited the Natural History Museum, the London Eye and the London Aquarium.

All three men deny one charge of conspiring with the four bombers and others unknown to cause explosions between Nov 17, 2004 and July 8, 2005.

The case continues.

Time for my theory.

I´m sure I read this somewhere but I cannot remember where.(I´ll find the link)

My feeling is that there is an attempt to blur the borders of nations and diminish the authority of governments.A world coup d’état if you like.
It seems to originate in the US but its hard to really say.Like a Frankenstein monster it´s took on a nuclear powered life of it´s own.
It will control the military the banking the energy supplies and will control the heads of individual governments.Game set and match. How far are we down the road??
All the negative news could be to piss people off so much that they will be prepared to heed then call of the evil bastards.A bit like Germany before ww2.
Good chance that an awful lot of blood will have to be spilled before a change for the better.
look at Palestine for example.War crimes being committed infront of the world.Look at Iraq and Afghanistan,,testing grounds to see just how far they can push the evil envelope.Sept 11th the London bombings etc etc etc all this shit will continue. No end in sight.

@rob

attempting to instill a sense of impotence and undermining people's faith in their institutions is almost certainly part of the gameplan

which is why, for instance, I find stories about police incompetence and corruption, or alleged war crimes committed by ordinary soldiers, to be a double-edged sword. They create an appetite for more extreme alternatives and they instill a sense of 'them vs us' between people who work in those institutions and the people they are supposed to serve

The majority of people clearly aren't psychotic bastards and if they were so passive and so indifferent to the suffering of others there'd be little need to lie to them so much and go to so much effort to pump their heads full of crap

This is how the minority controls the majority

In that respect, the battle of information and ideas clearly is important, if not quite as inspiring as growing a beard and hanging out in a jungle somewhere

Cue those immortal lines which graced the back of a few album covers back in thee early 80's...

How much longer will these needless wars led by Israel continue? Will it 'change' under Obama? Highly doubtful, after his 'no comment' about Palestine. Israel already owns Obama after he picked Rahm Emanuel, the son of a terrorist, as Chief of Staff. Obama will probably let Mossad slide on their 9/11 involvement and Obama will continue Middle East wars. So who won the US election? Israel did, as always

The jury was shown CCTV clips of the four bombers on their journey to London on July 7 and the moments Tanweer and Hussain detonated their bombs.

Hmmm, so they have 'the moments' the bombs went off, but not them boarding the trains/bus, entering the staions etc

Stef said...

that statement is, to the best of my knowledge, misleading

the 'moments' in question did not include the alleged bombers but were taken from footage captured outside of the carriage

any confusion caused by this wording as to what actually has been shown on video is, no doubt, entirely unintentional

Stef said...

I commented on this issue at the time

Doubting my doubts? Not quite

and was rewarded by some anonymong abuse for being some ghoulish fucker who actually wanted to see video of people being blown up

actually, what I really want to see is video of the alleged bombers getting on a crowded rush hour train, slipping off their rucksacks, scattering their ID around the carriage and whipping out their remote controls

that I'd like to see

Stef said...

it's all very peculiar isn't it?

I mean if you're going to set off a bomb remotely or with a timer why stay with it? Why not pop back up to Luton and pick up some more of those surplus bombs you allegedly took for a somewhat pointlessly dangerous daytrip

after all, you'd bought return tickets to London

And why bother scattering your ID around the train when you've supposedly knocked up some chilling martyrdom videos?

And those trains do get pretty crowded at that time in the morning. It's a wonder anyone managed to move around the carriage scattering their ID around the place

and so on, and so on, and so on

The dumping of toxic waste off the somali coast came to light, quite litterally, after that big tsunami dredged out lots of nuclear crap ashore. Somalia is also a very popular place for illegal fishing.
So the poison is going back to the sender, so to speak...

I really doubt the pirates in question give a flying fuck about the environment. If they were so pissed off, they would kill the bastards and we would hear about slaughtered Spanish fishermen.
Instead, they just take their cut and look the other way, or attack softer and more juicy targets like commercial liners and stupid tourists.

By the way, regarding this photo of the Israeli WP attack: It is the UN School in Beit Lahiya. And those ambulances were at the scene because there was an WP attack right before. And right after, the IDF fired first another WP shell and then an artillery shell.

So, let me repatriate:
1. The IDF fires a WP shell at the UN school.
2. Ambulances arrive at the scene.
3. The IDF fires another WP shell.
4. After some minutes the IDF fires an artillery shell.

or the RAF firestorms in WW2

First wave, high explosive to disrupt water supplies and 'ventilate' buildings

Second wave, incendiaries...

Anonymous said...

Yeah, but I would argue that these kind of attacks during WWII were a different kind of beast in a quite different league. The combination of high explosive and incenary bombs was an integral strategy and had only one aim: Burn everything to the ground, including man, woman and child - and that in the "worker-districts", not in the areas of industry.

Hit a city hard and wipe it off the map it was during WWII, while these "bait and kill" attacks are directed at rescue workers - genuinely wicked as well, but different. We don't destroy cities these days, we are more civilized (or at least that is the image they would want to portray). It's simple terror. State terror. Kill a few and terrorize all - instead of kill many many.

Yes, the closer one looks, the more things come apart - and we feel so proud to be living in civilized times.

-

The one problematic incident was the reserve paratroops brigade that fired about 20 such shells in a built-up area of Beit Lahiya. Many international organizations say phosphorus shells should not be used in heavily populated areas. The brigade's officers, however, say the shells were fired only at places that had been positively identified as sources of enemy fire.

The 120mm shells, a recent acquisition, have a computerized targeting system attached to a GPS. Brigade commanders say they were very effective, but they were also responsible for two very serious mishaps: a strike on a UNRWA school that killed 42 Palestinians and a friendly fire incident that seriously wounded two officers.

http://haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1057361.html

Serious mishaps! Oh, jolly me, who would have thought that we'd really hit something?

Stef said...

Yes my example is a little different but similar in the way that it illustrates how some people are capable of cold calculation in the way they commit murder

German war production, of course, increased through to the second half of 1944; in spite of all those destroyed cities, hundreds of thousands of civilian casualties and 50,000+ dead RAF personnel
