Mainstream Conspiraloons #342 - The Sun

Personal circumstances mean that this blog's well-earned nap will continue for a wee while yet but I just had to wake it up briefly to pay homage to this genius news story from a couple of week's back which I only just noticed thanks to the J7T forum...

"COPS searching the homes of 11 terror suspects have seized bags of sugar — a common ingredient in home-made bombs.

Sugar can be mixed with chemicals to create an explosive for use in bombs and grenades.

Scientists were last night analysing it to determine if it was a secret bomb ingredient.

Eleven men — aged between 22 and 41 — are still being quizzed by anti-terror officers.

They were rounded up in a series of raids across Manchester, Liverpool and Clitheroe, Lancs, last Wednesday.

Security sources believe they thwarted an “imminent” attack planned for the Easter holiday.

Ten of the 11 suspects are Pakistanis in Britain on student visas. The other is British.

The sugar was taken from a house in Cheetham Hill, Manchester.
"

Verily I say unto thee, you couldn't make this shit up, even if you tried, really, really hard

They're desperate. The globalists know their agenda is in trouble, and as a result their subordinates are panicking, leading to obvious bullshit like this.

Maybe the police should hire MacGuyver, he could go into any house in the country and come out with machine guns, guided missiles and nuclear weapons.

As was said on Craig Murray's blog a couple of weeks ago ; 'Police have found a bun-making factory'.

Oh well, and I have 20 kg of sugar in my kitchen (plus 20 kg of flour and 20 kg of rice). I guess that makes me suspect too. Sigh.

And some offtopic conspiraloonery (combining AGW, NASA, the moon landing and science!) you might like from the comments from Watts Up With That:

Help me understand this, the legend on the graph goes -0.1, -0.05, 0, 0.05, 0.1, plus or minus 2 or 3 whole degrees???

This agency put men on the moon? I’m starting to see why that old conspiracy theory about the lunar landings being faked is still kicking around. If we keep getting more nonsense like that graph with that legend yet such a huge uncertainty interval in the fine print, I’m going to start questioning EVERYTHING they’ve ever claimed.

And you might shed some light on that:

http://wattsupwiththat.com/2009/04/24/new-zealnd-sacks-its-top-climate-researcher-for-speaking-with-the-media/As far as I understand this, he could have been fired for anything and some (or all) involved could be lying through their fucking teeth...

If we can be arrested for sugar then their mission is surely complete? Impressive, most impressive! Witness the power of this fully operational battle station..
