This makes me really really angry.

I have seen this kind of behavior by the police in some videos about demonstrations in Germany too, and I have heard some stories of random people on the street near an demonstration being hit by the police, just because. I have personally seen a 25-ton water cannon truck nearly hitting someone, just so the police can demonstrate their superiority.

I can completely understand the people who say "All Cops Are Bastards" and act on it. ACAB, totally. If the police and the government is not taking actions to prevent this kind of behavior, then I say they are all in it, they are all to blame, collectively.

Yes, I know it is wrong to let yourself be provoked like that, yes I know that all the police needs is a couple of people throwing bottles to use violence against 10,000 peaceful demonstrators, but I say they are hooligans in uniforms and they deserve all the beating that is rightfully coming their way - not that they have to fear anything, in their fancy Starship Troopersesque outfits.

I don't think people should bother complaining about the current levels of police brutality too much. It'd only delay the inevitable. We know where things are headed and the sooner we get there the sooner we can start storming palaces

Perhaps we should ask Putin if he'll loan us his military to help :p

Seriously though, I can't see this ending quietly...

Clearly she wasn't demonstrating the proper fear and subservience that a citizen should demonstrate towards a peace officer. Any american could have seen this coming a mile away

The video has been pulled because of a copyright claim by MI6 Media Bureau - I mean of course, BBC World Service
