Funny F*ckers

Seen in Stockwell Underground Station today...

The station is festooned with the things - including one placed tastefully on the platform directly opposite where JCdM was executed

edit: coincidentally, my North of England correspondent sent me this picture taken in Rochdale station today whilst I was typing this post up...

hmmm, mucho synchronisticomente

and remember, it's only subliminal if you're deaf, dumb and f**king blind

The Dark River opens several months after the events of The Traveler. Beginning in New York City the book takes us around the world to London, Ireland, Ethiopia, and Germany. The setting evolving around the characters Maya, Gabriel, Viki, and Hollis as the set out to protect this world the fourth Realm from the changes beset in motion by a group called the Brethren.

Sounds good to me

I'm currently working on a novel based on the premise that Bovril is named after the mystical power juice used by the race of subterranean overlords that the Nazis searched the Himalayas and Antarctica for and tried to power prototype flying saucers with and that Bovril is packaged in Thule Society/ Nazi colours

Nobody would buy that kind of nonsense for a second though

I'd be more inclined to buy it, if, instead of the "Brethren", they were called something like the "You-Can't-Prove-I-Ever-Knew-Anything-About-Them-Until-You-Mentioned-It-Just-Then-Says-My-Lawyer-In-Any-Case-It's-Just-A-Harmless-Get-Together-You-Know-I-Hear-Barbecues-And-The-Like-No-Human-Sacrifices-Ever-And-It's-Very-Unprofessional-Of-You-To-Ask-You-May-Well-Be-Putting-Your-Press-Pass-At-Risk-Giving-Credence-To-Those-Scurrilous-Rumours-en".
Maybe time will tell, so long as he's not arrested under the prevention of terrorism act.

It's Wilbur Smith with a tinfoil hat, it's Andy McNab on Salvia, it's Tudor Parfitt without the Welsh supremacy.

The first one was actually OK.

This is SO sick. Repellent. Is that actually a Lunderground logo or is it a (um) joke?

How tf do I get rss on the comments here?

Anonymous said...

Okay I get it. The RSS, not the joke.

it's 'Art on the Underground' brought to you by the 'Mayor of London and Transport for London'

It is? For fuck's sake.

Is it inciting racial hatred? Probably not, by a whisker. Is it inciting blindness in the indigenous commuter?

* incensed *
