Stef's Blog - a native London Southlander and unrepentant 'Conspiraloon™' who doesn't trust anyone, not even himself. Sometimes I take pictures. I also enjoy swearing immensely and think much faster than I can type, so each post comes guaranteed to include at last one confusing typo. OK?

Call the anti-terror police - Arrest him.
Just don't charge him with an offence ... that's what terror is all about.
...and
...don't forget
..we have his computers ...
or
Rufen Sie die anti-terror Polizei an - halten Sie ihn fest.
Gerade nicht laden ihn mit einer Handlung…
.. welcher Terror ganz ungefähr ist.
… und
… nicht vergessen
. . wir haben seine Computer…
The "PFI bombshell" story is having it's legs cut off.
From April 2009, the government will have to include PFI debt "on balance sheet".
More info/links on here.
No, no, the original goes something like this:
Für Ihren eigenen Schutz mussten wir Schutzhaft über Sie verhängen. Und zu Ihrem Besten ist es das sie nicht bei der Geheimen / Regulären Polizei bleiben, deswegen senden wir sie in ein Besserungs Lager.
For your own Protection we had to order protective custody over you. And oh, it is best you don't stay here at the secret/regular police, so we send you to a improvement camp.
When the normal action of the police becomes a punishment, we have a problem...
Give them time ..

One can feel (if one is atune to such things) the effects of the "coordination" and "purging" in today's judicial system here in Germany. For a short time after the war, there seemed to be an honest effort by the British and the US to clean up that giant mess and make sure those in power during the Nazis weren't to stay in power afterwards. But then, the Soviets became the enemy de jour and many, many, many former Nazis could continue to work in state (and private sector) in the western sectors which would become West-Germany. No more secret police, no more camps, no more war - but there were certain traits which people just couldn't shake off, though in a watered down fashion. Let's call it authoritarian with a disgust to everyone not falling in line. I guess this comes in handy if you want a loyal ally.
