Just how f***ing stupid do They think We are?!!

Ages ago, I tried to formulate the ultimate Daily Mail news story of the future. A story which encapsulated all the establishment-promoted fears which are being used to herd people towards the security state.

And, at the centre of that story, I imagined the ultimate threat to our sacred way of life and freedoms being something along the lines of a crazed immigrant paedophile jihadist; with a nail bomb under one arm and a small blue-eyed boy under the other

There's a post about it somewhere at the arse end of this blog a few years back

In all honesty, I never imagined that the establishment's War on Terror bollocks factory would ever believe that it was in a position to actually seriously promote something so OTT

-

I just got this email from a non Loon chum

have a look at this article, written by two people:
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/crime/article4959002.ece

"Link between child porn and Muslim terrorists discovered in police raids"

First two paragraphs say one thing; the following paragraphs, particularly the sixth, say ooh, actually it might not be true after all, they are looking into it.

Comments are interesting.

yes, they are

as luck would have it I was chatting, as I do, with some folk about elitist child abuse only the other day

the subject of the unfortunate, ill-fated Sarah Payne, especially her artwork figured highly

as did Jersey care homes, the Franklin child prostitution ring and, of course, Dunblane

and as I've just commented on the intriguingly named I Love Child Pornography post over at LWT247's blog

From what I've seen, the spinners really have gone too far with this latest nonsense

even people I know who don't share my views about the scale of mass media manipulation have been commenting negatively about it

like any stimulant, the power of the The War on Terror narrative loses its strength with each repeated application

there's almost a sense of desperation about some of recent crop of nonsense tWoT reporting, sorry, repeating

Somewhere, someone is almost certainly working on a new angle/ rebranding/ relaunch exercise'

On reflection, this latest story in The Times is just a rehash of the old 'The Prophet was a kiddie fiddler' taunt that's been so productive for the on-line Haribo crowd

There's nothing quite like an accusation that someone fucks children, or endorses the fucking of children, to really throw them off the rails

Passports Will Be Needed To Buy Mobile Phones - http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/politics/article4969312.ece

Anyone worried yet?

Anonymous said...

not really. In Germany you cannot buy a mobile phone without your ID card.

Also in Germany you cannot rent or buy a house without first registering at your local Rathouse(council) and proving you are who you say you are,,for me a Brit I needed my Passport and a copy of my birth certificate.

The good thing (so far) is that the streets of Germany do not have a cctv camera on every corner.

Stef said...

In Italy you have to produce your 'Codice Fiscale'; something like a British National Insurance Number, for all sorts of purchases and transactions, including a cell phone

The Italians don't yet have CCTV on every street corner - they've gone straight for soldiers instead

Britain still lags with regards to some of the components of a perfect police state but it's doing really, really well in catching up where it does lag and steaming ahead where it doesn't

A question I frequently ask myself, and others, is why is Britain so often the pioneer of all these invasive new technologies?

You would have thought that a country which has not been subjugated or occupied for many hundreds of years would be the fiercely protective of the freedoms it has enjoyed

What is it about the population of the UK that makes it so susceptible to all these exciting new developments?

Is it complacency?
Too much shit TV?
Crap education?
Too much turkey twizzler and genetically modified frozen pizza-like food products?

All of the above?

And shouldn't individuals assume responsibility for letting this happen?

I'm the first person to acknowledge the role played by shadowy elitist forces but, if truth be told, if we weren't so collectively fucking stupid those shadowy figures wouldn't get past first base

I've started to notice that a lot of people on the net are coming up with similar sets of solutions to the mess we're in. Someone's already commented along those lines in this blog...

- Ease up on the consumption
- Avoid debt
- Wherever possible, pay for stuff with cash, or even better, barter
- Stay healthy
- Stop feeding yourself crap
- Turn off the TV
- Read newspapers in the same way you'd read The Beano
- Work on at least partial self sufficiency
- Reduce your reliance on oil and gas
- Become an active part of a local network of people
- Learn a useful skill
- Reconnect with the things that make life worth living

Basically, live a greener less self-harmful lifestyle without being a self-righteous twunt with it ... or advocating coercive globalist bullshit

Who really needs a cellphone anyway? They're already being used to bug and track people, as well as being an integral, fetishistic part of consumerist culture

I take the point that the link to the phone thing was posted as an example of a wider malaise but I hate what's been done with the fucking things already anyway

Stef said...

Ooops, almost forgot...

- buy gold (even though it's down 20% since the media started telling you to)
- buy canned food
- buy a gun

This from Gray Falcon may be of interest.

"Commenting on a recent incident in Serbia, where several hooligans attacked a young lady at volleyball practice and broke her arms (!), a Serbian blogger called "Jane" doesn't buy the establishment explanation."

The phone thing is not really about phones though, it's more about ID cards I think. They will make so many things dependent on having one you will not be able to operate in society without getting a 'voluntary' ID card.

I agree about the things though, I hate mobiles and peoples dependence on thema. Someone we managed perfectly well pre-1995 didn't we?

Stef said...

@anon 18:06

yup

So, which solution is it going to be?

- storming the winter palace/ bastille/ radio station?

- sticking two fingers up at the whole rotten mess and trying to adopt a lifestyle that inherently rejects the bullshit?

or, maybe some some combination of the two?

personally, I'm working on the latter but I'll be keeping the pitchfork and matches handy

Stef said...

The phone thing is not really about phones though, it's more about ID cards I think.

understood and agreed, but I really, really

... really

dislike mobile phone culture

When out with a few fellow Loons last week, and not discussing elitist child abuse, the subject of mobiles came up

and I was marveling at just how readily people have adopted units that

- bug their conversations

- act as a personal tracking unit

- expose them to regular doses of radiation, pumped out at microwave oven frequencies

some people even enhance the effect by jamming receivers into their ears, thinking it makes them look cool

unlike their brains

and the great thing is that people have submitted to this voluntarily, enthusiastically even - actually paying £30, £40, £50 a month for the privilege of being bugged, tracked and fried; living a lifestyle where you're constantly yapping to someone somewhere else, not the person who's with you at the time

sheer fucking genius

I don´t have a handy(mobile phone)
either,,seen what they can do to popcorn!!

seen what they can do to popcorn!!

a few weeks ago however picking the kids up from school the car fuel pump went in the middle of nowhere, luckily all the kids had mobiles,,it would have been a fairly long walk without them on that occasion.

That aside don´t have one and never will.

I only really have mine so I can be contacted on the move, but I'm thinking of ditching it altogether. If I was able to have my own phoneline here I'd have done so already.

Heheh, yes I am aware of the EM radiation issue - in fact several items work at the 2.4Ghz or similar frequency that can harm living tissue\DNA. Wifi devices being one example.

Stef said...

A breakthrough! Our baby monitor operates on an elite 2.4 GHz frequency, so it's free from interference from nearby 900 MHz phones and monitors. And because it's digital, the sound is remarkably crisp and clear — no background buzz, no mistaking a cry for a cough. 600 ft. transmission range...

Stef said...

A microwave oven works by passing non-ionizing microwave radiation, usually at a frequency of 2.45 GHz (a wavelength of 12.24 cm), through the food. Microwave radiation is between common radio and infrared frequencies. Water, fat, and other substances in the food absorb energy from the microwaves in a process called dielectric heating

Stef said...

It's just as well that babies have such a low water and fat content

Anonymous said...

Hehe, I boil things on a stove instead of microwaving, they're only for lazy people anyway...

IEEE 802.11 is a set of standards for wireless local area network (WLAN) computer communication, developed by the IEEE LAN/MAN Standards Committee (IEEE 802) in the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz public spectrum bands.

Which is why I use ethernet over powerline at home.

I suspect Richard Kerbaj is a nom de plume but his "word-cloud" give his away his origins I think.
