The classic bright red British phone box ...
.
Once upon a time, before the invention of mobile phones, people would use them to make telephone calls and, occasionally as a makeshift lavatory or chundertorium whilst waiting for the taxi they'd just called.
.
Progress marches on and times have changed. British phone boxes, particularly the older fully-enclosed models, still make excellent lavatories but now that mobile phones are as cheap and chips, nobody uses them to make calls any more. However, they do make an excellent display points for 'tart cards', often on an heroic scale.
.
Consequently, I am currently toying with some very rough protoype publicity cards for my blog, suitable for 'slipping into' local phone boxes. I might even go so far as to base my homepage on one of them as well.
.
Let's face it, the Internet is porn-driven and if you want traffic that's the way to go. Plus, if I'm lucky I might even get some decent offers.
.
PS During my extensive research for this posting I came across this site ...

that actually sells London phone box tart cards for $5 a throw. I think I might just have to go for a walk tonight and grab myself a £million.
