Stef's Blog - a native London Southlander and unrepentant 'Conspiraloon™' who doesn't trust anyone, not even himself. Sometimes I take pictures. I also enjoy swearing immensely and think much faster than I can type, so each post comes guaranteed to include at last one confusing typo. OK?

My understanding is that that picture is a mash-up of the Carlyle typography with a picture of an RFID chip that was/is produced by a company called Matrics Inc. which was owned by Carlyle for a time
According to Carlyle's own website Matrics was sold on to, wait for it, Symbol Technologies in September 2004

Anyone in a position to confirm, or disconfirm, whether or not that was in fact a Carlyle Group logo at any point in time?
Sadly not

You couldn't make it up...
Given its spurious nature, what a surprise to find it hosted on Prison Planet.
shocking...
it still is a damned fine looking chip though
And yet try and explain any of this to a non conspiraloon and they'll think you're the mad one...
oh, I do
and they do
frequently...
